Your Birth
Yoga Baby Bliss BirthWorker Profiles
Our commitment to providing you with a supportive and nurturing pregnancy, birth and early motherhood journey means that we structure your antenatal, labor, birth and postnatal care to suit your needs.
Did you know...Women believe that birth is a natural event, for some it is simple and straight forward, for others it is long and difficult, but all women want a fulfilling experience and a healthy baby.
A positive birth experience is influenced by;
A woman in labor and birth who is cared for by a known, experienced and trusted birth partner; (when compared to a woman who does not have birth support)
Selecting who will be with you on your birth journey is an important part of your preparation for your labor and birth.
With Natalie (Midwife) and her team of BirthWorkers (Doulas)
What will we do for you as you? Whatever you want us to do :o) but this is something that we will discuss as you develop your birth plan and explore your birthing options. As a guide though:
Yoga Baby Bliss BirthWork Practitioners Yoga Baby Bliss BirthWork Practitioners are all certified Doulas who are currently, or who have completed, additional BirthWork training with Natalie (Midwife) so that we may provide you with a comprehensive and quality service through belly, birth & baby.
What is a Doula? A Doula is a term from taken from the ancient Greeks and historically is defined as slave to (a woman in)labor and birth, but today a Doula is provider of emotional and physical support in pregnancy, labor and birth, and into early motherhood.
